Nick
Born in Georgia, maturing in North Carolina, Nick started his culinary career in a small town mom and pop restaurant in North Wilkesboro, NC where he found his love to make people smile.  Serving the public became a passion that eventually led him to the Culinary Institute of America where he earned an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts, as well as a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management.  Since then Nick has been in the front of the house just to see the smiles.  Now he is partnering up with Chef John Romm to open Renditions to see you smile.  Come by and let Nick prepare a place for you.
John
Born and raised in Currituck, N.C.  John earned  a degree from East Carolina University in Hospitality Management in '98.  To expand his knowldege of food John attended the Culinary Institute of America and obtained a degree in Culinary Arts.  Afterwards, he worked for Certified Master Chefs in Baltimore, MD and soon moved back to the Outer Banks of NC.  John has been the Executive Chef at 1587 in Manteo, NC for the past 5 years.  Now in his own place, he intends to use Renditions as an outlet to feed people the way he likes to eat, with palate pleasing dishes and creative food presentations.  We are treating this restaurant as high end food at a down to earth price.  Affordable, approachable and non-pretentious make up our attitude and hope that it will become a regular spot for locals.
